CNC Ferrite Winding for Transformer & Inductor Cores

Endicott Coil Company, Inc. manufactures transformers and toroid’s to meet each customers custom application. Our engineers will work with the customer on their already designed application, or help the customer engineer solve his specific electrical problem. We have over 20 years of transformer design on our engineering staff committed to working to meet the customer’s needs. We make large three phase transformers that sit at the bottom of oil wells, as well as small transformers that sit on printed circuit boards.

Endicott Coil produces transformers in a variety of sizes and configurations with wire sizes ranging from 10 AWG- 48 AWG depending on the design. Available configurations include pot cores, toroids, E & I cores, ETD cores, and RM cores. Transformers and toroid’s are produced according to the customer’s specifications regarding direct current resistance, input/output voltage, inductance, impedance, and dielectric strength requirements.

Our products undergo dimensional inspection, hipot testing, surge testing, exciting current testing, input & output voltage testing, and turns count as specified. For more information about our products, please contact us directly.

Industry for Use

Electrical Industry

Advantages
  • ECC does not list maximum power as a limitation due to the common use of high frequency magnetics. In the past, power line frequency devices were usually limited by the maximum weight the factory could safely handle.
  • The high frequency magnetics utilize ferrite cores which weigh less than the silicon steel laminations used at power line frequency.
  • The high frequencies also reduce the weight of the copper windings due to the reduced number of turns required.
  • The laminations that would affect maximum power for high frequency magnetics would then be wire size and test frequency.
