Our standard ECC transformers are designed
to provide more power in the same space as other transformers – making
the transition to our transformers smart and economical.
Our line of off-the-shelf ECC transformers
deliver high quality, superior reliability, and maximum
versatility at surprisingly affordable prices.
The unique design offers very high creepage
and clearance between windings, enabling the transformers
to withstand HiPot levels of 3500 volts. The
units are built to ECC’s 130OC U.L. system requirements
and feature dual primary (120/240v) and dual secondary
windings. By combining these windings in parallel
or series, you can choose input and output voltages
or current ratings.
ECC standard transformers are available
in prototype & production quantities. They
can be used in applications such as power supplies,
telecommunications, industrial controls, and many more. |

ECC Transformers are available in 5 sizes based on
VA rating: 3, 6, 10, 20 & 56 VA. Each of these groups include 7 standard secondary voltage ratings: 10, 12, 16, 20, 24, & 36
volts. |
By utilizing standard, readily available half
bobbins and shrouds, ECC can prepare a series of primary
and secondary windings in various voltages. These can
then be assembled to meet a wide range of project requirements.
Available
modifications include:
- Custom primary and secondary windings
- Single or multiple (>2) secondaries
- Thermal protection
- Alternate pin position and phasing
