Endicott Coil Company, Inc., we produce encapsulated wound copper coils for products used in the construction, automotive, transportation, and electronics industries. In addition to providing protection from harmful environments, encapsulating also offers high dielectric and isolation properties and can be a more economical option than molding, especially for low to medium volume production.

After choosing the encapsulating material based on customer specifications, we either use a pouring or pneumatic dispensing process to fill either open faced or closed potting molds, depending on the application. Curing takes place in ovens with precision temperature controls to ensure optimal performance characteristics of the encapsulant. Gage testing verifies that tolerances are held to ± 0.010", while inductance, Hipot, and surge testing guarantee that the final products meet with customer specifications and VDE (Germany) standards.
